Healing Your Inner Child

Six Weeks of Discovery, Connection, and Transformation

What Is Inner Child Healing?

You weren’t born with self-doubt.

You weren't born feeling like you had to earn love, hide your feelings, or be "more" or "less" to belong.

Those patterns - the beliefs, the fears, the ways you protect yourself - started when you were younger.

When something happens to a child that feels hurtful, unsafe, confusing, or overwhelming, they find a way to cope. That coping can turn into a belief about who they are and how the world works.

And here’s the thing: those younger versions of you don’t disappear. They still live inside you, holding the feelings, stories, and needs from back then. They can show up in your adult life when you:

Inner child healing is the process of meeting those younger selves with the understanding, safety, and care they didn’t always have. It’s about:

  • Noticing when they’re present in your everyday life.
  • Listening to what they’re feeling and needing.
  • Responding in ways that build trust between you and them.

This isn’t about “fixing” you. It’s about reconnecting with yourself in a way that changes how you see, treat, and believe in yourself now.

Why This Work Matters Now

When you don’t start this healing work, old patterns don’t stay neutral — they deepen. The same triggers keep showing up, and the same wounds keep running the show:

  • Your relationships repeat the same painful dynamics.
  • Self-doubt creeps into your decisions and holds you back.
  • You react from old hurt instead of present wisdom.
  • Your younger self is still stuck in survival mode.
  • The voice of your younger self drowns out the voice of your empowered self.

Time doesn’t heal these wounds — presence does. And every day you wait is another day the past writes your present.

You already know that "someday" won't heal this.

This is your moment to start.

Your 6-Week Journey

Healing Your Inner Child if a focused 6-week program to:

  • Recognize when your younger self is showing up in everyday life.
  • Understand the beliefs they formed and how those beliefs still influence you today.
  • Offer safety, compassion, and new truths to those younger selves.
  • Build trust with yourself so you can respond differently moving forward.

You'll receive:

  • 6 private, 55-minute virtual sessions (one each week) devoted entirely to your inner child work.
  • Practical tools and in-session guidance you can apply immediately in real life.
  • A clear framework for continuing to support your younger self beyond the program.

Bringing a Stuffed Animal

What exactly happens during these six weeks?

You’ll learn to recognize when your younger self is present in daily life, understand what they need, and respond in ways that create internal safety and trust. Every session is experiential — meaning you’ll feel and experience shifts, not just talk about them.

By the end, you’ll have a relationship with your younger selves that feels supportive, compassionate, and real.

What makes this different from therapy or other coaching I’ve done?

Therapy often explores the past through stories, patterns, or diagnosis. Gestalt Coaching focuses on what’s happening right now to discover the past where the beliefs began. We work in the present moment — how your younger self still shows up in your thoughts, reactions, and body — and bring awareness to it.

This isn’t about fixing you. It’s about meeting the parts of you that have been waiting to be seen, and learning to respond from your authentic, grounded self. You’ll experience healing in real time, not as an idea.

I’ve done a lot of healing work already — how will this be different?

Most healing work happens in the mind. This is about integration — connecting your awareness to how you actually feel and respond in the moment. Many people who’ve done years of inner work discover that this program brings everything together in a deeply embodied way.

You’ll gain tools and awareness that make your other work “click.” The shifts you experience here tend to ripple outward, strengthening the healing you’ve already done.

And it's important to remember that there isn't one cure all and it took years to create the layers, and it will take time and different modalities to address them. Our unfinished business will present itself when it needs to be looked at, honored, healed, and released.

Do I have to talk about or relive painful memories?

Yes — we will talk about the experiences that shaped you, because acknowledging them is part of how healing happens. But that doesn’t mean we’ll go into every “dirty detail” or rehash the pain.

You don’t need to tell the whole story for it to be seen. We focus on the feelings, beliefs, and patterns that came from those experiences — not on reliving them.

This is a safe, judgment-free space where we can sit with the uncomfortable things that need to be witnessed so they can finally begin to heal. You’ll never be pushed beyond what feels manageable, and you’ll always be supported as we move through it together.

What if I don’t remember much from my childhood?

That’s more common than you might think. You don’t need vivid memories for this work to be effective.

We focus on what shows up in your body, emotions, and present reactions — because those often tell the story your mind doesn’t remember.

Your younger self always finds a way to communicate. Our work helps you learn how to listen.

What if something comes up that feels too heavy or emotional?

That’s okay — it’s part of the healing process. My role is to help you navigate those moments safely. We’ll move at your pace, and I’ll help you regulate, ground, and understand what’s happening instead of getting lost in it.

In Gestalt work, emotions aren’t problems — they’re messages. Together, we create space for you to hear and respond to them without becoming overwhelmed.

How do I know if I’m ready for this kind of work?

You’re ready if you’re tired of repeating the same emotional patterns, if you’re curious about why you react the way you do, and if you want to start showing up differently — not just talking about it.

You don’t need to have it all figured out. You just need a willingness to be honest with yourself, to stay curious, and to show up. That’s where real transformation begins.

What if I’ve never done any inner child work before — will I still get results?

Absolutely. You don’t need any prior experience. In fact, starting with guidance is often the most effective way to begin. I’ll walk you through everything step by step.

The only thing required is openness and doing your part. Your inner child already knows what they need — this process helps you reconnect with that knowing.

Will this take care of all my inner child wounds?

No single program can resolve every wound you’ve ever experienced. Healing isn’t about finishing — it’s about developing an ongoing relationship with yourself.

What these six weeks will do is give you the awareness, tools, and connection to understand your younger selves, meet their needs, and begin creating internal safety and trust. This foundation often starts a lifelong ripple of healing and change.

What happens after the 6 weeks are over? And do I have the option to continue working with you?

You’ll leave with clarity, awareness, and the tools to continue this work on your own. Many clients choose to continue with single or extended sessions to go deeper, but it’s not required.

By the end, you’ll know how to recognize when your younger self is present and how to meet them which means the work continues naturally, even after our sessions end.

Many clients choose to continue with single sessions or transition into longer coaching containers to deepen their work. Once the program is complete, we can discuss what continued support would look like for you.

How are the sessions held — in person or virtual?

If you are located in the Springfield, MO area you can do in office sessions in our cozy and comfortable environment, otherwise sessions are virtual and held via Zoom.

What if I need to miss a session?

Life happens. If you need to reschedule, you can do so as long as your 6 sessions are completed within a 10-week window, depending on availability. Consistency is important for your process, so I encourage keeping your sessions as scheduled whenever possible.

What should I have with me for each session?

Bring yourself exactly as you are. You’ll also want some water, and your stuffed animal — it’s a simple but powerful tool for connecting with and comforting your younger self.

Some virtual clients like to have tissues, a blanket, or something grounding nearby. Whatever helps you feel safe and supported is welcome.

Do I need to buy a stuffed animal before we begin?

Yes, we highly recommend have a stuffed animal.

Choose one that feels comforting or draws you in. It’s not just a prop; it becomes a physical representation of your younger self.

Yes, we know that it can feel awkward and foolish as an adult to have a toy, however the processes with the stuffed animal during our work helps bridge emotional connection and safety in ways words alone can’t.

What kind of time commitment should I expect outside of sessions?

You’ll have your weekly 55-minute session, and you’ll use your Inner Child Awareness Journal between sessions to notice patterns and celebrate progress. It’s designed to be gentle and realistic — not overwhelming.

Most people spend about 15–30 minutes a few times a week with their reflections.

How do I know if this program is right for me?

If you’ve been doing “the work” but still feel stuck in the same patterns, this is for you. If you’re ready to understand yourself on a deeper level — beyond mindset — and create real emotional change, this is for you.

And if you want to finally give your younger self the love, attention, and safety they’ve been waiting for, you’re exactly where you need to be.

How soon will I start feeling or notice a difference?

Most clients notice shifts within the first few sessions — things like being less reactive, feeling more grounded, or realizing they can calm themselves faster when triggered.

The deeper changes — like self-trust and emotional regulation — grow with consistency. Healing happens layer by layer, and each week brings more awareness and peace.

Do you offer refunds or transfers?

Because this work is a live, time-based commitment with limited spots, all sales are final once you reserve your spot and begin the program.

By joining, you are making a commitment to yourself and to honoring your younger self. I bring my full experience, presence, and guidance to every session, and I ask that you bring the same dedication in return.

If circumstances arise that prevent you from attending, your 6‑week program may be rescheduled within a six‑month window. Please note that unused or partially completed programs are non‑refundable and not transferable.

If no alternative arrangements are possible and you have not yet begun the program (i.e., attended a session), you may submit a written refund request to [email protected] no later than 72 hours before your first scheduled session. Please note that, due to the limited spaces available, a $100 administration fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
